The test that opens doors around the world

IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of people who want to study or work where English is the language of communication.

IELTS is recognised and accepted by over 10,000 organisations worldwide, including universities, employers, professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies. For a list of organisations that accept IELTS scores, visit www.ielts.org/recognition.

The international test

IELTS is internationally focused in its content. For example, texts and tasks are sourced from publications from all over the English-speaking world; a range of native-speaker accents (North American, Australian, New Zealand, British etc.) are used in the Listening test; and all standard varieties of English are accepted in test takers’ written and spoken responses.

The test that’s tried and trusted

IELTS has been developed by some of the world’s leading experts in language assessment, and is supported by an extensive programme of research, validation and test development.

The level of the test

IELTS is designed to assess English language skills across a wide range of levels. There is no such thing as a pass or fail in IELTS. Results are reported as band scores on a scale from 1 (the lowest) to 9 (the highest).

FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

The course is self-paced, but most students complete the core curriculum in 6 to 8 weeks (studying 5–7 hours per week). If you have a tight deadline, we offer an intensive 2-week track. You also get 12 months of unlimited access to all video lessons, practice tests, and updates.

Yes. While the Listening and Speaking sections are identical for both tests, our platform allows you to toggle between Academic Reading/Writing and General Training Reading/Writing modules. You can switch at any time, and the system will filter the correct lessons and mock tests for your specific exam type.

Most students improve by 0.5 to 1.5 band points after completing all assignments and mock exams. However, we do not guarantee a specific score because results depend on your starting level and effort. We do guarantee that if you complete 90% of the course and do not improve by at least 0.5 bands, you can retake the course once for free.

All our practice materials are written by former IELTS examiners and follow the exact format, difficulty, and timing of real IELTS tests. While we cannot use copyrighted live exam questions, our question bank is regularly updated to reflect current trends, question types (e.g., map labeling, multiple-choice, essay prompts), and band descriptors used by IDP and British Council.

You get both. Automated AI scoring gives instant results on multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions. For Writing Tasks 1 & 2 and Speaking mock tests, you can submit up to 10 assignments per month for personalized feedback from certified IELTS instructors (including grammar, lexical resource, coherence, and task achievement).
